IT'S NOT WHAT YOU KNOW, IT'S WHO YOU KNOW

In Canada, lawyers cannot be experts or specialists in certain areas of the law. In that way, lawyers are very different than doctors who, after completing medical school, pick a specialty and receive further training and education in that specialty area. However, many lawyers chose to focus their practices in different areas that they find interesting.

I have chosen to focus my practice on criminal law, specifically criminal defence work. If you are not facing criminal charges or your legal problem does not involve the police, I would encourage you to find a lawyer that can help you with your legal problem.
